Highlands Cycling Club

About Us

Highlands Cycling Club (HCC) is a group of passionate mountain bikers with an active base of volunteers. We are an IRS 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit, charitable organization.

Our Mission

Connecting the cycling community and sustaining trails across Southwest Montana.

Our Vision

Southwest Montana, specifically Silver Bow County, is home to a vast network of sustainable trails which offer locals and visitors with recreational, athletic and educational opportunities.

Activities

Making a difference

Copper Sprockets

Butte and Anaconda youth mountain bike team (grades 6-12). If you want to advance your biking skills, this is the team to join!  If you'd like to volunteer to be a coach, please contact us.

Note: Donations to Copper Sprockets will be used only for that purpose

Trail Maintenance

We work to keep our trail system in great shape for all users.  This is done through volunteer days as well as tracking and clearing down trees throughout the year.

See Local Trails info page for descriptions and for trail reports

Fat Bike Grooming

Get your boots, gloves and hats on! The biking season is not over once the snow flies. A group of volunteers keep miles of the Thompson Park trail groomed and ready for all the fat bike enthusiasts.
